Project Description:

the University of Pune has made use of Information Technology to achieve Effectiveness and Control in the Administrative and Academic process with greater transparency. The project has introduced electronic workflows through online Services and Automation with more than 800 affiliated colleges/institutes and around 6 lakh Students. The data centre in the University of Pune has achieved 99% uptime since last 3 years. This project has achieved 100% Automated Affiliation and Eligibility process for all colleges/institutes, Online process for Examination forms, Online applications for convocation certificates and e-Payment gateway. This network also has Session Transmission system with live interaction (e-Academia 1.0) transmitting events from university live to all college and students. The university also has College Communication gateway serving automated document/circulars workflows with SMS and Email and Online Question Paper Distribution with all security measures.
