Project Description: Sindhudurg Collectorate is only One Revenue Administration Office in India which operates on paperless model through e-Office, featuring complete electronic workflow. All District Revenue officials, SDO Offices and Taluka Offices daily operate through computers and validate documents through their digital signature. Since the inception of project, more than 25,000 files, 70,000 letters have been processed electronically. Old files were migrated to electronic system which consisted of more than 1.1 million pages. e-Office is the result of massive Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives taken to streamline process across 14 volumes, more than 2300 types of subject for entire revenue system. Citizens of Sindhudurg are now enjoying speedy and transparent service delivery through efficient, effective and accountable district administration. e-Office has also saved tonnes of paper used for daily office work, thereby creating and environment friendly working atmosphere.
