Project Description: MHADA has revolutionized the way application for house-allotment is carried out through the lottery-based system. Through this system, allotment of houses constructed by the MHADA, to the citizens of Maharashtra is now conducted in fair, transparent and equitable manner. The software was developed and implemented in record 2 months time-frame, which has feature link SMS and Netbanking integration, secured web-interface etc. The entire process, from application to the flat-allocation is now online. This has resulted from speedy processing of citizen applications, as well as flat-allocation and refund process. The long queues, earlier seen at the bank counters or across MHADA offices have vanished. The system processed 87647 applications for 1244 houses in approximately 10-15 days. It also saved over 50 lakh papers. The refund process was also quick.
