Project Description: The Department of Registration and Stamps looks after registration of the document, recovery of Stamp Duty and preservation of registered document. iSARITA is centralized, 3-tier, state-of-the-art, web-based application running across Department’s more than 500 offices across Maharashtra. Implementation of iSARITA has reduced the average registration time to less than 30 minutes. The department has successfully registered 20 Lakh documents through iSARITA, as of 1st July 2013. This system has helped in improving service delivery to citizens as well as efficiency and transparency. The success of this project has been widely recognized and the project has attracted attention of many other states. This project is a shining example of e-Governance leadership of Maharashtra in India
