State e-Gov Awards 2016

Last Date for Submission of Applications is till 8th August 2016

State’s Information Technology Day is celebrated on 20th August of every year. Maharashtra State e-Governance Awards will be distributed on this day to recognize & promote excellence in implementation of e-Governance initiatives in Maharashtra state. It will help to recognize and motivate the officials promoting e-Governance to deliver citizen services in transparent and faster manner at reasonable cost.

Award Categories

• Excellence in Government Process Reengineering
• Excellence in Citizen-Centric Service Delivery
• Excellent Website / Portal
• Innovative use of IT in Governance: Adoption of Cloud First Mobile First Strategy
• IT for environment (Green IT)
• Use of GIS technology Maps
• Use of Social Media

There would be three awards (Gold, Silver and Bronze) in each category.

Who Can Apply?

• Maharashtra State Government Departments
• Maharashtra State Government PSUs
• Maharashtra State Education Institutes
• Maharashtra State Corporations
• Maharashtra State Cooperative Societies

Criteria for nominating project

Nominated project must have been operational for a period of, not less than ONE YEAR as on date 30th Jun 2016. But nominated project should not be more than THREE YEAR old as on dated 30th Jun 2016.

Please note that submission of incomplete information on Online Nomination Form may lead to rejection of the application. Each department representative needs to give a presentation on 11 & 12th which shall be reviewed by Award Committee. The Award Presentation template is provided below in the link section.
