Project Description: COLIS is web-based District Administration Portal for Collectors office in Kolhapur District, hosted at http://collectorkolhapur.gov.in. COLIS deals with critical administrative workflow aspects o Revenue Administration at District, Sub Division and Tahsil level. COLIS also brings in transparency in Revenue Court Case Proceeding, as information about revenue court cases is available on the website. COLIS also has modules for other administrative functions such as Food-Grain Distribution, e-Web Publication, e-Govt-Recovery, e-Godown, e-Pension, e-Election etc. Around 300 advocates, 5000 litigants are using and benefited by this module. More than 2000 cases are processed and 896 cases have been concluded. Through SMS gateway integration, citizens are able to know about the status of their applications. As Court adjournments are communicated to the litigants and advocates on the real-time basis, it has saved more than 12000 man days. A number of other districts in Maharashtra, namely Ahmednagar, Nanded, Thane, Sangli, Pune and Bhandara are also using this system for their offices.
